based on a norwegian folk tale of the North coast, this image relies on a process called anaglyphic resonance, that allows us to see different images from each eye through coloured filters to creat the illusion of depth.
basically it uses old school 3d glasses :)

god that's a relief - had to upload to dot23.deviantart.com page - now off to see Martine Votvik (my gf)'s show in London - it's the trip with her that inspired this picture, and everythhing elsse about this year! You can see my imprecision of her in the panoramic sketch above ;)
